this is an existing rule,not new rule..if there is a material change in the job, then H1B needs to be ammended. ee madhya client visits ekkuva ayyai ani employers chestunnaru..but its not a crime if u dont update..working at new location without LCA is considered a bigger offence, not this one.. nannu adigite, unless needed kelakkunda unte better.. LCA amendment need not be reviewed..it is an automated process. I used to this LCA amendment when I was on H1B. I know a case where USCIS raided a company and arrested all the TCS employees as their LCA was for Houston and they were working in SanAntonio which is around 200 Miles away way back in 2002. So always do the LCA amendment if you change the client.. | ||

There was memo in 2003 saying it is not required. But now they say it is required. So every time you have change in client address or you file new LCA you have to submit h1 amendment which is equal to filing new h1. you should get client letter.. etc | ||

Its not H1b amendment..it is LCA amendment you need to file if you work in a different location which is 50 miles away from the mentioned one in LCA. | ||

Its not with client..its for LCA..if you change LCA..do H1 amendment..Rule exists..but no one does it..looks like USCIS is mandating it now... | ||

its not a new H1...but H1 amendment....and this is not a new rule as u mentioned... some of my friends also got a query as they didnt file H1 amendment when they changed thier cleints... also recently another friend filed this as he moved to a different cleint | ||

Kotta rule anta last week nunchi effect anta uscis nunchi.. If you got h1 on client A and if you move to client B then your h1 is void. you have to file new h1 which is called h1 amendment.. |
