Got HP TouchPad in the ongoing firesale but don’t like webOS, don’t worry. Few folks over Rootzwiki have already started working to port Android on TouchPad. This four developer team will be first going for Gingerbread, after the build reaches stable beta phase – they will move on to Honeycomb.

If project become a success, expect a nice Android tablet out of TouchPad considering that it comes with 1.2 GHz Qualcomm dual core processor, 1GB RAM and 9.7 inch display.
