do they have it in them to do well in sub continent? ---- England's problems historically in the sub continet has been playing the spin...... Now they are good at it...... Long gone are the days where we can beat them with Scorching heat, Prawn curry and Spin....... that said.....yes.....they would be a bit worried because of dependance on anderson who wakes up only in swinging conditions....... Bowlers like bresnan and Broad can cover that a little.....but yes there is one slight concern about english fast bowlers in Sub continent.... We are what we repeatedly do. however I do think , it will be really tough to continue at the top for an extended period of time...with the amount of cricket played, more professionalism in competing teams windies and oz feats are very hard to replicate --- England holding in to TOP ranking....cheppalem... but look at their team sheet and ages.....only strauss is nearing an end and all the rest will play for around 6/7 years...... Bowlers sitting out are finn,Tremlett and Onions........and some good spinners Batsman......two more very good batsman ready to raise and play for england...... my next prediction is going to be Bell to be No.1 batsman int he world......my favourite and i also predict him to do well in upcoming one day series.... they have a superb Dravid like No.1 down batsman in Trott......a run machine in cook......Morgan will sure will have a long career and Prior..... at this moment.....they look strong......and to be frank......blood pettaru saami....last few years......Flower has been a top notch coach.....and Gooch is batting coach......they work like hell........ SA is their main opponents no doubt.......when they play each other.....it will be top notch contest.....for sure We are what we repeatedly do.
