Tagline: Not a remake of Catch Me If U Can Strengths: Whole and sole NTR Weaknesses: Nothing at all Must see scenes: 1. Ntr entry scene 2. Climax twist Must avoid scenes: 1. Sunil comedy bit 2. MS Narayana comedy bit My analysis: Kantri is a superb movie with all the needed mass masala in it. Ntr is back in the big league with this movie. He is for sure the next star of Tollywood. Ntr is the life of Kantri. Meher Ramesh scripted a story which can only be done by Ntr and no one else. The story though predictable, becomes good because of the sudden twist in the climax. kantri-pic13.gifPerformances: Slim and trim Ntr did a splendid performance in this movie. His action, dance, fights everything is a highlight in this movie. Ntr is much better than his earlier movies in emotion and dance sequences. He has showed his real talent in the dance sequences. He takes the whole movie to success solely on his shoulders. Hansika Motwani and Tanisha add glamour quotient to the film. They both are hot and good looking. Prakash Raj did a good performance as the bad mafia don who gives value to only money and not to relationships. Asish Vidhyarthi, Ajay Sharma and Shyyaji Shinde are other villans who are adequte in their roles. Comedy part by Brahmanandam, Kota Srinivas Rao and Ali is good. Sunil and MS Narayana is not upto the mark. Mukesh Rishi and Subba Raju varietily did good man roles in Kantri. Subba Raju excelled in his role. Music by Mani Sharma already recieved good reviews even before the release of the movie and is now superb after the release. The songs are shot in excellent out door and in door locations. Ntr gave life kantri-pic2.gifto the songs and their music with his excellent dance performances. “I go crazy” is the highlight of the movie because of his steps and Bharatanatyam bit. “123 neno Kantri ” and “Vyasunami” songs are also good. Fights by Stun Shiva are just upto the mark. If they were choreographed for any other movie then they would have been bad. But, because the fights had Ntr they are good. He made them good with his action packed emotions. Story by Meher Ramesh is good mainly the twist he has given just before the climax makes the movie a super hit. Direction and Screenplay by Meher again are good. Though he is a debutant for telugu film industry, Meher Ramesh proved his talent with Kantri. Looks like he has put all his assistant direction and Kannada movies direction experience into this movie. Meher Ramesh has made a right kind of mass movie for Ntr which is sure to hit the target audience (mass audience). Story: Kranti (Ntr) who is an orphan who works as conman for an international mafia leader PR (Prakash Raj). After few differences, PR and Krantri come to know that they are father and son. Meanwhile Ntr falls in love with Hansika who is a middle class college going girl.
