this is too much...just because iam succesful than them u cant give judgement against me...it will just show ur losers....iam really pissed off with that guy today....our bags are already in the conf room when they came but we were not there... so here is I wat i concur....forget papi...others if u support me then it shows that u r respectful to people u meet in outside world and u really take seriously ur career and u want to become oneday like me..means a winner... ok this is what happened right....one of my best clients in NY...CIO close friend to my boss Mr hedge....so today we wanted to get sign off on the solution we provided and they went live with and we wanted to discuss about phase 2 approach so we requested for a quiet conference room and we went there and we were told no one is bothering us for rest of day in that room... we went for lunch and came back and two very young desi dudes sitting there...we were surprised and asked them wats the deal and got a reply from them they would be there till end of day...so we settled in to our chairs confused and we didnt know how they can double book the room when they promised us...i wanted to go and tell the concerned people about this confusion... so I turned around and asked one guy "Excuse me...sorry to bother you but what exactly you are doing a demo here ?" and that dxck head responded me like "Does it really matter? What concern is it of u what we are here for her?" and now....my temper raised to immediate boiling .... I was almost standing up from my chair but controlled and said "Look dude...I need to go and tell them who exactly has booked the room so that they can work it out. So I was asking what exactly you booked the room for. I care a damn for what you and ur friend here are doing to entertain your clients. As a matter of fact I fcki........" ikkada Mr Hedge stopped me and said lets go back to one of our rooms where we sit and we can close the door and talk about the approach....I felt cheap for losing it as Mr Hedge is a very decent guy always in a suit and never used bad words etc etc and most importantly I didnt have good relation with him and didnt want to look cheap b4 him then that dxck head started saying u go and talk to todd...I have nothing to say... I gave him the dirty harry look . I was planning to come back and lash out at him when hedge will not be there... and we got up ...took out laptops and bags and I stood up and was about to walk and Mr Hedge stopped me.... and now a little bit about Mr Hedge....Mr Hedge is in SAP for almost 17 years...but he looks very young like he is in 30's.... he is from singapore...born and bought up there....in usa since 10 years...a decade back reliance was paying him 1500dol/day in India for sap work...he is so good... and in USA you go to any client and if they r implementing treasury , loans , securities then they must know Mr . Hedge....Iam not exaggerating he is so popular...For eg if the client calls u and interviews u and if u say ur working for Mr Hedge no more questions...just logistics when to start...he is like that....This is my third project with him... he is very very paranoid about getting things perfect....and Iam like chaltha hain hotha hain .... so we used to argue a lot about our approaches and stuff and though we are making lot of money for each other I never had good opinion on him as we debate a lot....I used to think he hates my guts but he is just with me cause Iam good at what i do and he had no other choice... But today that opinion on him completely changed.... So when we were about to leave Mr hedge told me to wait and looked at that dxck head and he rolled his sleeves got into a position where he is ready to mind fxk him and he started his tirade...."Dude...what are you exactly doing here??? do u know who this guy is and how much work he did for this client and how many visits he made to this client this year and how much melissa values his opinions ? we are sitting here b4 u guys arrived....so we were puzzled and asking u about what exactly ur doing here...and u r being rude to him when he is asking u nicely? You think is this the way you will respond to people in a professional environment. " and the dxck head was like "look so many things happening here. Iam not in a good mood" then mr hedge said "iam not in a good mood now. do u want me to kick ur axss. that doesnt work like that. u are with todd? I own Todd. You owe my friend an apology or else this wont stop here. and that dxck head said "iam sorry..we are doing demo on blah blah..but please understand blah blah blah" and hedge incresed his tempo...i stopped hedge and told dxck head "Dude...one proper response of what is ur demo about would have kept things clean and professional here rather than turning this into a bar fight.So try to communicate properly or else u will never go up in this business" (those two are telugolley....they were talkin on phone with some other guy saying they r tensed about demo...they look like freshers scared with first demo and ..so i said like u will never go up in this biz..) and he apologized again and came out...but felt nice as mr hedge whom i thought is a jerk is actually cool and just like us....so we bonded and first time after 3 projects he said lets go to downtown sometime this week and roam around and have a pitcher... u see one proper communication from that dxck head would have prevented that confrontation and saved my BP and also would not have let me type all this shxt... |
