The commitment of the likes of Dravid,Laxman and Sachin cannot be questioned -- no body is above the 'TEAM', it only appears that way....... infact i like to question Lakshman's inability to learn from his trap in the previous two occasions that he fell for the same tactic again......it simply says, top guns are aged and time to relax now......when reflexes go down.....dravid drops catches, sachin gets out gliding like 20 yrs ago....... situation is telling something........its TIME.......superheroes also get white beard........only that they shave and appear, doesnt mask the fact...... The commitment of the likes of Dravid,Laxman and Sachin cannot be questioned. Sehwag..agreed. But not the above 3! England were better prepareadd than us! They had the chance to play against SL before India toured them! That series prepared them mentally! For them India is another sub continent team.. wii all due respect.....this is not one off series.... if you count the series coming into this as a win and a genuine win by a no.1 side.......then no comments..... we were running like kids to shake hands with the last placed team in the rankings to draw with them and keep our status......we were desperate...... it is not one off........loosing is ok.......but without putting a fight is a crime....when you get to represent your nation put up some fight or dont give excuses...... its funny to say that nothign cicked for us, when we did nothing to click......landed up in to play away series, without any preparation or tour matches.......didnt use any one playing in county cricket to represent us, we got our maidan tigers to play on grassy pitches and say nothing clicked....... teams dont show up to check if things are clicking or not, but teams come prepared...... simple......i repeat what Nasser Hussain said and whole of India went for his throat......We didnt value our status as No.1 team, we didnt value test cricket.......simple as that.....there was only one strategy, turn up.... try to play........pack bags......go...... Defeated but not disgraced! MSD..there is no shame in loosing to a better side. You ppl made us proud by winning the World Cup this year.. You ppl made us proud with your performance in Australia and South Africa.. Its just one series where the other team was better prepared. Lets give back to them when they tour for 5 ODIs later this year. If at all we have to be angry, it should be on media which projected you ppl as national heroes after winning the WC and projecting you as villains after the loss to England!
