I want to retire with X kg of gold (j/k). then how does it matter whether price goes up or down.. unlike shares, gold does not go bad. padmanabhaswami prove chesadu kadaa. gold vs gold miners: now is the right time to get into gold miners. all these days they were doing a thankless job. they were producing gold at $500 and selling for $700. Now their cost of production has gone up slightly but selling it at $1700. So, that extra $1000 soon will get them the windfall profits. so pick reputed miners with deep reserves and know how. my picks are : ABX and KGC.
