YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy tried to put up a brave front on hearing the news about the Andhra Pradesh High Court’s judgement directing a detailed CBI inquiry into his assets, but he definitely looked dejected and felt that he was in troubles.

During his tour in Kadapa district on Wednesday, Jagan was all smiles as he interacted with various sections of people.

At one place, an old woman tried to narrate her woes and asked Jagan’s help. “Right now, we are in troubles. Let us wait for our time. It will definitely come and I will solve all your problems,” Jagan said, in an obvious reference to the high court’s judgement.

Jagan, however, refused to answer the media queries on the high court jugement.

We're in troubles, let's wait for our time: Jagan

According to souces close to him, he is going to file a special leave petition in Supreme Court on Thursday itself, challenging the high court judgement.

“But the chances of Supreme Court entertaining his petition are bleak, as it amounts to reviewing its own judgements. Already, Supreme Court is inquiring into the cases of corruption and scandals like 2G spectrum. If it accepts Jagan’s petition, it would have to review its own decisions,” observed a High Court lawyer.
