Sachin takes loan to buy 1BHK flat for son Sachin Tendulkar has reportedly taken a loan to buy a 1BHK flat in Panvel, 45 kilometers away for his son, Arjun. According to an article published in the Daily News and Analysis (DNA), Tendulkar, who recently purchased an 8,998 sqft-bungalow at Bandras Perry Cross Road for Rs. 39 crore and spent an additional Rs. 40 crore on it, opted to take a loan for the property which has a carpet area of 467 sqft and a 61 sqft terrace-balcony and costing approximately Rs. 24.88 lakh. The daily further quoted a source as saying that the property, developed by Thalia Investment Pvt Ltd, has been brought so that Arjun can train at the Karnala Sports Academy nearby which would save him from travelling on week-ends and keep him away from the limelight. Tendulkar also recently sold off his Ferrari, gifted to him by Fiat although the two transactions are being seen as un-related. |
