at the outset .. bad decision laaga kanipistondi .. kaani oka point that can justify this action is .. people can set up madrasas, catholic schools or infact maoist breeding centers .. evadiki kavalsindi vaadu nerpukuntaadu ante .. there are enough countries to fund schools and raise an army of their own in India .. there needs to be some regulation over what is being taught .. but there should be freedom to choose according to interests, once the syllabus is approved by the regulatory authority .. New Delhi, August 16: The Supreme court today adjourned by two weeks the hearing on an appeal filed by the association of private schools in Tamil Nadu challenging the introduction of a common syllabus for all schools. A Bench of Justices P Sathashivan and B S Chauhan adjourned the matter after the counsel for the schools sought permission to place additional documents. The Association has questioned the state government's decision to introduce from this academic year a common syllabus for all the schools in entire state. The state government had taken the decision following a criticism that multiple syllabus prevailing hitherto was causing confusion among students applying for the higher studies.
