endorsement of visa/pio card/oci is not necessary in the new passport.

U have to take both old and new passports and the pio/oci

I just landed in India.

For my son, I got PIO card a few years ago and I got a new passport a week before.

Never endorsed it and did not have any questions.

Dont know if that officer did not care.
