Irony in that was.. Next year.. during the drivers meeting before the race, one of the driver raised the same question.. we shouldnt be going in opposite direction to cover the missed piece of track.. and everyone agreed to him.. Senna stood up and left the meeting before stating.. last year becoz of the same rule, he was robbed of the title.. And the pole position to right instead of left.. daarunam asalu.. Ghoramaina politics.. 1989: Senna needed to win the last race to win the championship. Race lo on one of the corners, senna was tring to overtake from inside and prost turned into him and bumped into him. and both went off track. Prost could not join the race again, but senna was able to carry on after he got a push from the track side marshals. At that time FIA president was french and didnt like senna. FIA president gaadi argument was that senna used the escape road to join which was absolutely stupid because no one would turn back, join the track facing oncoming cars and then rejoin the track,, absolute cheating. 1990: next year same race, scena was reverse of 1989. Prost had to win the last race. Senna got pole position. Rules prakaaram pole position left side vundali. Kaani qualifying session taravata, they changed the pole position to right side so that prost could start from left side which was the actual racing line with the best grip. Senna was so angry that he said he is going to take lead by 1st corner no matter what and he didnt give room to prost and both of them crashed and this time it resulted in senna lifting the championship. | ||

Senna time lo electronics control was basic. They did not even have paddle shift gears at that time, manual gears. Now everything on the cars are controlled from the engineer control room. In the current format, no matter how talented a driver is they cannot deliever unless they have the best car under them. | ||

Last time when i was in india, noticed friends were taking F1 sport damn serious.. most of them were talking about shoemaker.. evadraa ee shoemaker anukunnaa.. and never bother following that sport. Infact they were ridiculing about NASCAR. Okadu.. oka circle sottoo emi tirudu ra bai mee edaval.. si si .. I had no idea how nascar is played.. Coming to the thed topic. Saw this documentary about this brazilian kid who made to F1 and won three times.. Beautiful doc and must watch for F1 fans.. infact any sport fan. Background score was enchanting.
