Shivavishnu:

if Life is nothing but a set of sequential biochemical reactions , then why can not we see a man/woman coming out of these sequential biochemical reactions now, now also earth got perfect conditions for these sequential biochemical reactions. Earth will be there for another 6 billion years unless SUN dies well before that, can man/woman be developed from these sequential biochemical reactions in next few billion years.

Life is nothing but a set of sequential biochemical reactions. One thing we need to understand is that evolution is a very very very loooong and boring process. For a fast paced brain like that of Human's its bit conflicting to fathom this, but in such a loooooooooooooong span of time, its quite possible that life originated from nature itself, may not be just accidentally but as a result of tandem successive 'cause-effect' type of chemical reactions eventually leading to the formation of a self-sufficient unit called cell. And god could be the nature or this infinite universe.

Shivavishnu:

Perfect conditions unna kooda, some one has to start/create a life. I don think life just starts if there are perfect conditions.

At this point that is also a belief :-)We can only extrapolate by analogy :-)

Who creates thunder? First time thunderstorm chusinappudu people may have thought the same that it has to be caused by someone and envisioned Zeus/Indra hurling their respective Thunderbolts :-)

In absence of evidence for a natural process for starting of life we may feel there has to be someone - the more we learn and understand that may change...:-)

It works the other way too - in absence of evidence of a "free-willed creator " we may think he/she does not exist ...more understanding may swing that way too:-)

As Sagan also said "Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence ":-)

"There are as many atoms in one molecule of DNA as there are stars in a typical galaxy."-Carl Sagan

"We inhabit a universe where atoms are made in the centers of stars; where each second a thousand suns are born; where life is sparked by sunlight and lightning in the airs and waters of youthful planets; where the raw material for biological evolution is sometimes made by the explosion of a star halfway across the Milky Way; where a thing as beautiful as a galaxy is formed a hundred billion times - a Cosmos of quasars and quarks, snowflakes and fireflies, where there may be black holes and other universe and extraterrestrial civilizations whose radio messages are at this moment reaching the Earth. How pallid by comparison are the pretensions of superstition and pseudoscience; how important it is for us to pursue and understand science, that characteristically human endeavor"-Carl Sagan (Cosmos)

Exact quote dorukutundi emo ani google cheste ee link dorikindi - it did not have that quote but some other great ones from the man who inspired so many to really look at the cosmos...worth bookmarking and reading every once in a while:-)

Couple of old favorites :-)

"Science is not only compatible with spirituality; it is a profound source of spirituality"-Carl Sagan

"Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there-on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam.

The Earth is a very small stage in a vast cosmic arena. Think of the endless cruelties visited by the inhabitants of one corner of this pixel on the scarcely distinguishable inhabitants of some other corner, how frequent their misunderstandings, how eager they are to kill one another, how fervent their hatreds. Think of the rivers of blood spilled by all those generals and emperors so that, in glory and triumph, they could become the momentary masters of a fraction of a dot.

Our posturings, our imagined self-importance, the delusion that we have some privileged position in the Universe, are challenged by this point of pale light. Our planet is a lonely speck in the great enveloping cosmic dark. In our obscurity, in all this vastness, there is no hint that help will come from elsewhere to save us from ourselves.

The Earth is the only world known so far to harbor life. There is nowhere else, at least in the near future, to which our species could migrate. Visit, yes. Settle, not yet. Like it or not, for the moment the Earth is where we make our stand.

It has been said that astronomy is a humbling and character-building experience. There is perhaps no better demonstration of the folly of human conceits than this distant image of our tiny world. To me, it underscores our responsibility to deal more kindly with one another, and to preserve and cherish the pale blue dot, the only home we've ever known."- Carl Sagan (Pale Blue Dot)
