I had a different issue. I didn't upload the photo but I used the application number that I saw on the page and booked the slot. The application didn't generate the bar code. Later the same application number didn't allow me to complete the application. The bar code page is compulsory at the time of interview. I took it granted and sent the person to the interview without that bar code page as it is not allowing me to use the same application number and upload the photo. chennai consulate gate people gave 2 hours time. So created new application and uploaded the photo and completed the application. Now it generated the bar code. I sent the pdf document and they took the print out of that. Even though the new application number is different from the old application number that I used to book the slot, they allowed the person for the interview. | ||

Use the application number that was generated(you can find that on the confirmation page) to find the application and upload the photo. | ||

annailu naa DS160 confirmation page meedha "start family application" click chesaa.. i was able to fill the application for my wife but it did not gave the option to upload the photo.. on the confirmation page it showed as photo not uploaded... do i need to fill a new application again ? |
