Since you are going on a weekend. Get a car if you are staying in Edison since you need to go around for food, Telugu cinema, Atlantic city etc. Without a car you will struggle. On the Hudson in NJ like Newport, Journal Sq avthe you dont need one. | ||

If your trip is exclusive to NY, then get a place in NY. If the weather is good, get a place along the coast in NJ because ferry ride is too beautiful to be missed out from NJ to Manhattan. Weather cold ga unte ( <65), then better to get a place in NYC (Manhattan). Avoid Bronx. | ||
