It seems like wankhede used two pictches in this world cup....one was bouncy n perfect n ball was coming on to bat nicely....over 600 runs were scored in that one with one team being a minnow... In the second one interestingly SL played and it scored around 250 playing first and the team batting second were all out for around 150....this pitch is slow n it turns and the ball is stopping after hitting pitch and its not easy to bat on this one.... Iam not sure if these are two diff ones...but historically wankhede stadium pitch is famous for scores around 220 to 250....I think they r using the one with bounce and which is batting frenly....because they r thinking of taking sreesanth in the line up for an injured nehra and not ashwin.... A Good News for India...matthews Out baby.... |
