Indian and italian rendu chestanu Usually ground turkey, sometimes lamb keema , mor a mix of the two to sauce chestanu .. almost mana keema iguru laga chestanu with tomatoes .. Heat oil, add cloves/cinnamon(for desi style, oregano, rosemary, thyme for italian style) .. Fry onions and greenchillies with some salt Add ginger garlic paste Add groundmeat and fry till cooked. Run tomatoes thru the mixer and add to the pan and let it cook down to a thick sauce consistency... Add cilantro for desi style, or parsley for continental Boil lasagna sheets in a large pot till cooked but slightly firm (al dente) In a lasagna pan or any rectangular pan layer as follows 1.Spread the lasagna sheets in a single layer 2.Add a layer of sauce 3.Spread a layet of ricotta cheese 4.Sprinkle a layer of mozzarella cheese repeat the layering process 2 or 3 times of all layers - ending with the mozzarella Bake in a 350 deg oven for 30 - 40 mins..till the cheese is melted I need to make a practice of saving my recipes - chala bad habit - everytime I type from scratch... aa chal ke tujhe main leke chalu ik aise gagan ke tale jahan gam bhi na ho, aansoo bhi na ho,bas pyaar hi pyaar pale |

holy cow! That's a ton of ghee. I think the bottomline is how many people can eat double ka meetha made with one loaf of bread and 2 bottles of ghee. If it's only 6 people that's like a load of fat kada. next time buffet ki vellinappudu chala jagratta ga vundaili double ka meetha tho. |

Rajakeeyam, Double ka meetha recipes rendu versions istunnanu. The first is the traditional - its a fat overload but deeniki oven avasaram ledu. I have friends who use their ovens as a storage cabinet - if your oven is unusable follow the traditional recipe The second is my skinnied down version - after a few variations, this is the lowest in calories I could get without compromising on taste 30 people ki ayite - recipe ni 1.5 times chesukondi if this is the only dessert - this is enough for 20 adults usually- inko dessert unte 1 loaf should suffice for 30. Traditional recipe: Ingredients : 1 loaf white bread 6-8 cups ghee - store bought ayite 2 large bottle ghee 2 cups sugar 1 cup non-fat drymilk(milk powder) 2 cups milk 1 cup mixed chopped nuts and raisins (cashews, pecans, almonds, pistachios - your choice) 1/2 tsp elaichi powder Step 1 : Khoya In a microwaveable bowl mix the non-fat dry milk powder with 1/4 cup milk and 2 tbsp ghee. Put in the microwave for 1 min - stir and put it in again for 15 secs. Set aside. Step 2. Heat a little ghee ina frying pan - slow roast the nuts and raisins.Move to a bowla and keep aside. Step 3. Heat the enough ghee to deep fry in the frying pan to medium-high heat.fry the bread slices- one or two at a time to a golden-brown.they should be crunchy on cooling. Remove to a tray lined with paper towels to absorb excess ghee. Fry all the slices. and let cool.. Note: keep the ghee at the rightheat- hot but not smoking - if it is too low - the slices will soak up ghee,. Step 4. Break up the fried bread- each slice into 4/5 pieces. Sprinkle the milk about one and half cup over the pieces and ensure all the pieces are a little moist. Step 5. Set a large vessel on the stove.Add the sugar with 1 cup water nand bring to a boil. The syrup is done when it feels a little sticky. Add the elaichi powder to the syrup. Reduce heat Add the bread pieces amd mix wll to ensure the syrup gets soaked evenly. Turn the heat off. Crumble the khoya into the mix and stir. Add the fried dry fruits, saving a few for garnish. Mix and remove to a serving dish.Top it with the remaining nuts/raisins. Serve warm - if you take it to the party microwave for a 2-3 mins before your serve Now my lower calorie, oven version - monna India pak match ki cheste crumbs kuda clean out chesesaru Ingredients : 1 loaf white bread 1/4 cup ghee 1 lb unsalted butter - box lo 4 sticks untayi.. 2-3 sticks saripotayi but depends on how much you use. 1-1/2 cups sugar 1 cup non-fat drymilk(milk powder) 2 cups milk 1 cup mixed chopped nuts and raisins (cashews, pecans, almonds, pistachios - your choice) 1/2 tsp elaichi powder All steps except step 3 above are the same.but I am cutting an pasting the whole recipe. Step 1 : Khoya In a microwaveable bowl mix the non-fat dry milk powder with 1/4 cup milk and 2 tbsp ghee. Put in the microwave for 1 min - stir and put it in again for 15 secs. Set aside. Step 2. Heat a little ghee ina frying pan - slow roast the nuts and raisins.Move to a bowla and keep aside. Step 3: Remove the oven racks and preheat oven to 300 deg. If you have large cookie use them on the racks - if you don't just cover the oven racks with 2 layers of aluminium foil. Soften the butter. Apply butter to both sides of the bread slices and spread them out on the prepared racks/ccokie sheets. Insert the racks into the oven Bake for 30 mins . Turn over the slices and bake for another 15 mins or till golden brown. REmove from oven and cool. Step 4. Break up the fried bread- each slice into 4/5 pieces. Sprinkle the milk about one and half cup over the pieces and ensure all the pieces are a little moist. Step 5. Set a large vessel on the stove.Add the sugar with 1 cup water nand bring to a boil. Raajakeeyam, Mango pie usually hit avutadi - easy and light - but my recipe is a little different . 1 can mango pulp 16 oz cool whip 4 oz cream cheese 3 sachets Knox unflavored gelatin(box lo 4 untayi) 3/4 cup sugar. In a small glass bowl take 1/4 cup water ..sprinkle gelatin over it and let it soak for a few mins. Microwave for 1 min and stir till the gelatin dissolves. Blend creamcheese , sugar , gelatin mix together till smooth. Move to a mixing bowl, add the mango pulp and cool whip till evenly mixed - pour into a tray and set in refrigerator for 4 hours. Double ka meetha recipe kavali ante cheppandi - konchem time ekkuva padatadi cheyyataniki Oohlala, Panipuri intlo ekkuva cheyyanu so pettukoni masala .. like to have it at the chaat stall somehow will catch up on the other powder recipes from u tomorrow  aa chal ke tujhe main leke chalu ik aise gagan ke tale jahan gam bhi na ho, aansoo bhi na ho,bas pyaar hi pyaar pale |

pulihora lo avapindi eppudu try cheyaledu, MIL little bit of sambaru podi vese varu... Anand sis, pani puri masala okkati marachipoyaru. I also have palli podi, 2-3 types of curry powders, velluli karam, kottimeera karam, karivepaku karam, pudina karam and kandi podi. Basil, oregano for pasta etc. what is dal masala? |

anand, mee list lo vunnavi almost na daggara vunnayi except non-indian herbs but naku vanta peddaga raadu. daily google search . ee madhye vanta baga kudirinapudalla rasukuntunna karam,salt amounts kosam. lekapote everyday concentrate chesi vanta cheyalante bahu kashtam ga vundi memu vamu chakralu(karappoosa) cheyataniki vadatamu. meeru kooralo vadatara ? frys loki peanuts powder,almond powder, sesame powder chesi vunchuta. also, naku karam 3 types vunnayi (india nunchi vachhayi ) okati sambaaru karam,vepudu karam, pachhi karam. sambaaru karam curries, pulusu ki, pachhi karam nonveg loki. kala jeera kooda vundi. garam masala ingredient adi. vaangi bath powder kooda vundi. thanks Anandji i will bump the thread tomm. prolly we might see more spices/ingredients..... Between the Non-Indian spices...like oregano rosemary..do they add any flaovor..I ain't a big fan of them so never use them.....but we used to have them in our kitchen racks |
