mastaru .. that comment was purely based on current form of the team .. The same SL bowling .. against pak on columbo dusty pitch .. Pak scored some 280 runs with their relatively poor batting .. Indian batsmen are better on such pitches compared with pak .. if that is NOT the case, then we would not even be hoping for a win in QF itself ... Indian batsmen we are betting them big time .. and for that SL bowling is NOT so much of a threat .. we can handle their spinners better than Pak on our day .. if it is NOT our day, we know how to switch off tvs and get on with life  I am a Gultu to the core, for me there is ONLY one Super-Star | ||

The way Ind and SL played in the knock-outs .. it is fair to give the cup to India .. They won against Aussies and Pak, who played the most consistent in their leagues ... SL lost to Pak in their league match ... SL beaten Eng and NZ in their knock-outs who are considered to be very weak on spin tracks .. But Eng tied with India .. And NZ beaten pak .. so that way, SL has beaten more in-form NZ than Pak ... it is a tad confusing here though .. SL bowling is not as threatening as Pak or Aussies .. Pak has good spinners and swingers and Aussies have had the raw pace ... Indian batting could with-stand both .. so we should NOT have prbs against SL ... But SL batting is more stabler than both Pak and Aussies in this tournament .. So India needs to be wary of this fact and cover the ground in their batting .. Bottomline, if India stays focussed .. it should be India's match .. Just dont let the team get in to pressure situation by losing wickets in a flurry ... then we can Win either chasing or defending .. I am a Gultu to the core, for me there is ONLY one Super-Star | ||
