If you are planning to watch lot of movies and BluRays go for a Plasma. Not the LG, Philips type but go for a high end plasma like Pioneer Kuro types. They beat the shxit out of LCD any given day in terms of PQ, skin tones and deep blocks. I tried both and Plasma wins handsdown. | ||

lower end plasma model << higher end lcd model in terms of PQ same range , any day plasma better than lcd...lcd/led try to achieve PQ of plasma not the other way if you want a tv which you will hang it in place of a picture frame, go for the lcd...it will serve its purpose with all the gloss and added colors | ||
