Robo (Endhiran in Tamil), directed by Shankar is the biggest hit ever in South India and the film took Telugu and Tamil film audience by storm in October, 2010. As we try to come out of the hangover, there are already rumours in Tamil film industry that a sequel to this blockbuster is already underway. Buzz is that the scripting of the film has already begun and Shakar’s team is currently working on the project. Shankar, who’s shooting Vijay, Ileana starrer Nanban (remake of 3 Idiots), hasn’t officially confirmed the reports but the film is likely to assume a larger form once he completes shooting Nanban. Rajinikanth might star in the sequel as well after he completes K S Ravikumar’s Rana.
