Next, local farmers markets If you are buying from a chain grocery store - frozen are better  I have colleague who used to drive trucks from mexico to Chicago/Canada with tomatoes.He used to say the red tomatoes you buy are green and hard when plucked and loaded into the truck - the ripening is artificially induced over the next 7-10 days before you buy them and then you keep it anothe 3-4 days in the fridge before you consume- basically upto 10-15 days after it is harvested. Nenu ade anukunna.. kaani..chala mandi ni adiga.. frozen are faar better than what we buy in super markets and indian stores.. reason : Fresh vegitables are picked before they are ready to be picked so that they can transport to other parts of the country. If you pick vegies early then vegies does not reach to their high level of vitamines and protiens. There ends the matter. That is actually true for most of vegetables. The enzymes have a half life and in air, oxidation is the culprit and the nutrition of vegetables decrease rapidly. Anduke frozen veggies and crushed tomatoes have good nutrition provided they are processed at the plant itself. Peace. Recent ga indian store vadu chichora tayyaru ayyadu.. Vegetables full sale ayyedaka kottavi pettadam ledu.. he is mixing old and new. So we started getting forzen vegetables from BJ's,Cosco etc. Beans,Spinach,broccoli,carrot,mixed vegies ..etc. When i check through google most of the articles are saying that frozen are good for health and have more Vitamins and pro. Naku ee vishayam teliyadu.. Frozen cheap and chala easy ga store cheyyochu.. malla cutting.. lanti panulu undavu. mi opinion cheppandi Papi gadu post este katthi la digali |
