Chiru to announce 150th film in Sonia's presence If speculations are to be believed, soon-to-be-wound up Praja Rajyam Party president K Chiranjeevi is likely to announce the launch of his next movie, 150th of his career, in the presence of Congress president Sonia Gandhi on the occasion of the formal merger of the PRP with the Congress party. The Congress president is expected to attend a grand public meeting to be organized in the third week of April to formalize the merger of PRP with Congress. The venue is yet to be finalized. It could be either in Vijayawada, Tirupati or Guntur. AICC General Secretary and in-charge of Andhra Pradesh affairs Gulam Nabi Azad reportedly asked him to organize the merger rally after the forthcoming Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu, scheduled on April 13. âSonia is most likely to attend the public meeting,â Chiranjeevi told the media in New Delhi. During the public meeting, Chiranjeevi would seek her blessings for the come-back film, which he believes would go a long way in stabilizing his political career in the Congress party. During his meetings with Congress bosses, the issue of PRP MLAs joining the Kiran Kumar Reddy cabinet was also discussed, sources said. |
