modern economy ante japan lo unna reactors matrame na. that tantra worked in the times where trade was limited to sea routes and communication took weeks if not months. we live in a smaller world now and have to compete with other countries. everyone's goal is to produce cheaper and better quality goods and services. the more restrictions you impose on capital the more you are going to lose out acharya chanakya ne kaha hai jis des mein jitna jyaada tax hoga us des ke nagrik unta garib hothe hai - Baba Ramdev |

Kamal:greed anedi food/slaves nunchi vastundi ani adi chadivi ardam chesukunnav ga annai ..
ok lets look at that statement again - With abundant food supply, since slaves were not available, and as land was not for sale, what would drive greed? What would make people want more gold? the poet seems to say that there is no need for food and no availability of slaves so there is no greed. i dont know what else to take from that. food is not greed it is necessity. greed does not arise from availability of slaves but from availability of capital
Kamal:it does not mean those 85% of the world is inferior in terms of talent to the 15% of the world .. if thats ur understanding !!

And also, look at the social arrangements/sexual freedom. Then how come RSS supports and promotes hindu talibans like bajrangdal/shivsena? And what explains our own self-proclaimed resident hindu taliban kamal? ;) The folly of mistaking a paradox for a discovery, a metaphor for a proof, a torrent of verbiage for a spring of capital truths, and oneself for an oracle, is inborn in us.- Paul Valery

* With abundant food supply, since slaves were not available, and as land was not for sale, what would drive greed? What would make people want more gold? * Instead of real rights, à¤à¤¾à¤® kaam (desire, including sexual) à¤à¤°à¥à¤¥ arth (wealth), मà¥à¤à¥à¤· moksh (liberty) and धरà¥à¤®à¤ dharma (justice), people were fobbed off with 'free' speech (in your drawing room, to yourself), 'free' press, (mortgaged to banks and advertisers), religious freedom,(subject to population planning), etc. * Faced with a reality of 'warm-bodies-shortage' in the 19th century, the West invented 'liberalism', 'secular' Governments, Marxism, Socialism et al. It is these principles which accounts for the low levels of diversity in the West â and which also accounts for the shrillness with which the West proclaims its 'liberalism' â facts being otherwise. * When the British needed money to repay America for WWI debt, it is India which bailed out USA â and Britain. Rest of the article is awesome .. na punyam .. na paapam .. na soukhyam .. na dukham | na mantro .. na theertham .. na veda .. na yagnah || |

that article is interesting but the comparison table does not specify during which ages all those things were valid. some examples would have justified the comparison better. going through the table i see that west follows a lot more suratantra than India in every area in the past century except social arrangements. acharya chanakya ne kaha hai jis des mein jitna jyaada tax hoga us des ke nagrik unta garib hothe hai - Baba Ramdev |

So the real question is why are all parties in India leftist in economic matters? Almost all of them including the so called "nationalist" BJP, want a strong state intervention in cultural promotion, media, education, healthcare, businesses. Another Gem from one of the commentator The complete sentence was- âThat duplicity is characteristic of every Western System- religion of âPeaceâ, religion of âLoveâ, âEgalitarian stateâ promised by one of the systems, âFree Marketsâ promised by another, âOf the people, By the people, For the peopleâ claimed by another⦠the âMerciful Godâ, in whose name millions of âkaffir/infidel/pagansâ have been massacred⦠etc.â Any sane person with decent grasp of English will understand that âreligion of peace and loveâ are identified in that statement as western systems, which share the characteristic of duplicity along with other such western systems such as communism(promises egalitarian state while essentially turning people into slaves), capitalism(advocates free markets while actually capturing markets), democracy(claims to be âfor, of and by peopleâ, but actually takes away power from people for five year terms and vests it with duplicitous greedy politicians). |

The fruits of democracy In âmodernâ India, European thought dominates academic and intellectual discourse. One such example is democracy â which lulls us into a stupor of inaction, while it gives us an illusion of being powerful. Instead of being involved in our societies, localities and communities on a daily basis, it wakes us up once in five years at election time. After five years of stupor and laziness, this political device makes us talk loudly, rudely. And we go to sleep again. The device of democracy also corrupts our mind. Instead of focusing on the behavior of rulers and politicians, it diverts our minds to believe that the solution is to replace one bad ruler with another. It creates a collusive polity where bad rulers conspire with each other, against us. This fruit of democracy is a strange poison. |

Across South West India to the North-East, deep in the jungles of Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Orissa, Bihar to Bengal, a swath of red terror is making life difficult for the Indian state
