According to TD sources, Naidu is disappointed that there has not been much media coverage to his yatra, compared to what YSR could get for his padayatra five years ago. Except for a single story with a photograph, not much importance is being given to him on a day-to-day basis. During YSR's padayatra, even his rival papers like Eenadu and Andhra Jyothy gave him extensive coverage. Unfortunately for Naidu, there are many other issues, compared to his yatra, that needed public attention: like rising prices of commodities and cement; byelection scenario, IPL cricket etc. All these were not there during YSR padayatra. Secondly, priorities of the media also changed in the recent past. Hence, the less coverage for Naidu. Sources say Naidu might resort to some big drama (like fainting or falling sick) during his yatra period, so that media would blow it up on the front pages and thereby he can gain some public sympathy.
