Simba cheppinatlu laptop graphics cards settings oka saari check cheyyi.

Nenu almost same config, but with a desktop and a 25' HDMI cable connected to Samsung HDTV. Naaku kooda Netflix undi, anni movies ki HD streaming undadu. But vaadu HD antey 720p naa leka 1080p naa telvadu.
An idea is like a Virus.

Check the pixels of display in which the video is playing. Generally HD boxes and Bluray players upgrade the signal to HD for display on TV. That might be missing component when you connect ur lappy to TV.
