Olympic: Hoping that you have a customizing task, you cannot combine 2 tasks in to one. sorry if i confused you earlier. You can add different tasks to other TR but you will still have diff task numbers, they are never merged in to one task.

Do both tasks in one configuration; then split the configuration in half, save each half separately in TR and stitch them together. |

so i think the only option is delete one task and do the other half config again and save under one task./// This is the only option you have if the client is worriesd about no.of tasks created for each request. or else as i said earlier reorganize the tasks in to the new transport request. |

Bmw007: Then copy the task which is good and move it to a new transport and delete the other task...
u dint get my issue..there iss no good and bad here. rendu task lu good ee.. kani half config of one object is done in task A and other half config of the same object is done under task B. so i think the only option is delete one task and do the other half config again and save under one task. |

Olympic:not sure why do you think it looks kamedy?
it looks kamedy because, one object ki two tasks enti brother. for example take plant config, will any one do two tasks, one for creating tables and one for address? evadanna chusthe eediki asalu sap vacha anukuntadu.. Olympic:select the TR and right click you will get the option to add user then add the user it will create the task for that user

Seinfeld:naa TR kinda 2nd task , nenu config chesi save chesaka vachindi. but ho can I just create a 2ndtask under TR and assign that shell to other user?
If you are working on the same object you cant create a 2nd task with your ID. To change it to a new user right click on it and it will give you option to change owner.....Right click will give lot of options and you can play around |

Why do you want copy the second task to first..leave them both and when you transport the main ..both will move. There is no way to copy 2nd task to 1st...you can delete the second task..then release the transport and start the config in new transport |
