It cant be applied to all cases. If such rule exists, some people will take advantage of it and say whatever they like in their first post and will get away with it. It depends on the severity and intensity of post. Its tough to formulate rules of moderation. In many cases, it becomes subjective. banning without Warning should not be an option for mods. You you want to be a mod, be ready to spare time to be available to members, give warning and them ban. Mods should issue a "Show Cause Notice" before they ban members. Especially when they are being banned without Warning. Members whoever did it may have a valid reason because some other member might have provoked this person. But after fan based mods are installed, they are being too partial and ignoring the person who provoked it and instead banning the person/or deleting the threads that are not appealing to them.
