Bmw007:
ee client lo enti ante even in production generally they keep 2 periods open. ee retroactive rebates enti ante, previous sales ki rebates miss ayithe they submit rebate again. So those rebates have to be posted in last open period but not in current period. But in rebate document that I create, posting date is system date and daani valla it's posting in current period. So FI lo emanna option vuntundha to post in previous periods ani choostunna. |

Fidelity:Even if I accrue today, postings should be made in last open period in past -- meaning sept in my case.
Bro previous posting period is closed during month end...do you have month end close or quarter close? If all the posting period are open what ever the posting date you give while posting the doc it will take if the period is open |

I have multiple open periods -- for ex in test system it's open from 09/2010. Now if I accrue something today meaning posting date is 02/17/2011, are the postings made in month of Jan or in Sept? What is the standard system behaviour? FI lo emanna configuration option vuntundha to influence behaviour? My scenario: we are doing retroactive rebates . Even if I accrue today, postings should be made in last open period in past -- meaning sept in my case. TIA. |
