the fact is, marwadi's have indirect impact on the stock markets upto some extent. apart from many other factors, marwadis' transactions also augment to the fluctuations in markets. ide naaku telsindi.

Gotcha:

But I hear there are lot of other caste based parties in TN like one for SCs one for naidus etc.

Vjavasi:

the reason why tamilnadu is going thru two district caste based parties is because of the empowerment of castes using their social capital, it's economic empowerment that's raising political ambitions not politics causing economic
empowerment.

State lo rendu ideological parties.....DMK,AIDMK lu peruki maatrame backward class parties, kaani nijaniki avi family based parties....so ee okka single caste ki representives kaadhu ee parties....irrespective of theri political representation social groups in tamilnadu prospered using cooperation and social capital, take for example

Tamil Brahmins - Entire dravidian political agenda was brahmin hatred, still they influence tamilnadu at all levels except politics - business lo oka TVS group, india lo 30% IAS officers veele vuntaaru

Kamma Naidus - coimbatore area lo light engineering, spinning mills, educational institutes anni maximum vella chethulo ne

Chettiars - traditional money lenders, very rich

Balija naidus - business class, rich

Gounders - weavers, they transformed sirpur with their textile business, they export over 3000crs of under garments and other cotton fabrics

the reason why tamilnadu is going thru two district caste based parties is because of the empowerment of castes using their social capital, it's economic empowerment that's raising political ambitions not politics causing economic
empowerment.
in contrast take the case of states like UP,bihar heart of mandal politics. backward groups captured political power in 80's but they couldn't significantly translate their political power to economic success, for them the advantages that came with political power are some favourable govt transfers, nepotism in govt jobs, govt contracts for a small group of people related to those in power
So only political empowerment is not a guarantee for economic upliftment, sometimes too much political involvement could become
negative. marwaadis who doesn't have any direct political clout control indian stock market
