in Jagan Camp Page 2 Dc lo padindhi BTW Gangakka Iron Legs Ambati, Roja will pull Jagan down Taking a serious note over the description by suspended Pradesh Congress Committee general secretary Ambati Rambabau, that Congress president Sonia Gandhi was a `Shaitan’, the ruling party’s Women’s Wing president and MLC Ganga Bhavani on Tuesday demanded that the defiant leader withdraw his comments immediately and offer an unreserved apology. Talking to media persons at Gandhi Bhavan, Ms Ganga Bhavani said that the description by Mr Rambabu was not only unacceptable but also in a very bad taste. Known for her choice of words, especially when speaking against former actress Roja who was once Telugu Mahila president, Ms Ganga Bhavani described Mr Rambabu as one of the ‘iron legs’ which would hinder the progress of Mr YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s yet-to-be-announced party. She said that Ms Roja was the other Iron Leg who had flocked to Mr Jaganmohan Reddy. The Congress Mahila president said that with these two iron legs, the Kadapa leader’s party will be wiped out before it can gain a footing. Ms Ganga Bhavani also lashed out against both Mr Rambabu and Ms Roja and said that they do not have any moral right to talk about Congress president Sonia Gandhi. She demanded that the two Jaganmohan Reddy supporters change their language and desist from using abusive and foul language against Congress leaders. Ms Ganga Bhavani also warned them of serious consequences if they did not mend their behaviour. Reacting on her party aligning with the Praja Rajyam Party, the Mahila chief termed it as a good sign and predicted that the Congress party would gain in all the three regions of the state. |
