Consult a tax attorney. I have no clue.. and you must be getting per diem, which will make the situation lilbit complicated for my understanding.. In the past I worked in two different states at two different times.. so each state ki Partial resident gaa file cheste set ayyindi.. nee case koddigaa complicated.. they have a point. Generally in both states. You file a non-resident state return in the state where you work and a resident return in the state where you live. Almost always, one of the two states lets you claim a credit for taxes paid to the other state. It is usually the state where you live that lets you claim a credit for taxes paid to the state where you work, but in a few cases it is the other way around. Some pairs of states have reciprocal tax agreements, where they agree not to tax each other's residents on wages. I work in chicago but home is in Ohio ippudu naa pay stub chusthe chicago state tax potundi at the sametime ohio state tax kooda potundi..just because my hom is in different state and work place is in different state.. is that right? or something wrong |
