Oka simple solution - Public should start applying for passports early not at the nick of moment of their travel. Just like birth certificate a passport is a citizenship document.. apply early and by doing so public automatically minimise corruption and other not so legal ways to get passport. If I remember it right, early 90s lo passport office lo employees eeaglu domalu tholukune vallu.. it is after dot com boom they have become busy.. ippatinunchi ayina govt should advise its people to be proactive and encourage them to apply early. | ||

VFS handles accepting passports on behalf of embassy and posting stamped passports to concerned applicants and they do it very efficiently | ||

The best solution is to issue e-passport or a Biometric passport to everyone.. India has also given out a contract to TCS for issuing e-passports through passport seva kendra in the recent years.. | ||

let us talk solutions for a change. one condition. we shouldn't have to expect the staff to be honest http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RfBvYFm5mV0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q2G-wtJZ-3s http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w_OOd4rO4V8 what govt can do in spite of un cooperating staff 1) fix the website to not allow one ip to block the dates 2) allow printing forms online 3) get a different office where people can sit. the monthly income for this office is around 1-2 crores. it is pathetic that people have to stand in line in the sun and rain all day. 4) implement a token system with display numbers. banks have it. restaurants have it. sad that the pigs who are in charge here dont notice it when they go out 5) increase staff. demand supply ki meaning telusa ee edavala ki. they are not doing charity. it is a self sustaining profit generating office 6) make brokers who help to fill forms official. call them support staff. give them booths with counters. pay them salary. post more. may be someone will see this some day i am not insecure. i dont need a group to oppose a lie. enemy of my enemy is not my friend |
