Former minister and Congress MLA from Parkal warned the Congress high command of stirring the hornetâs nest, if she was disqualified from the assembly membership under Anti-Defection Law. âIf the Congress party thinks they can disqualify me on disciplinary grounds, it is going to dig its own grave in Andhra Pradesh. The moment action is taken against me, all the pro-Jagan MLAs would resign from the party and it will lead to the collapse of Kiran Kumar Reddy government. Nobody can save the party then,â Surekha told the media. She expressed confidence that the Congress party would not dare take such a step at this stage. âIf disciplinary action was to be taken against me, it would have been done when I wrote a strongly-worded letter to party president Sonia Gandhi. Now, she does not have the guts to take action against me,â the Congress MLA said. |
