i think this is common , if you are registered in the voters list the court randomly picks few names and call for trial refer this link for more info http://www.akd.uscourts.gov/faq_jury.htm#FAQ03 , you can officially get leave in the office for attending jury . | ||

jury duty ... if you are not a citizen just call the number listed on it and tell that you are a non citizen.. they will take you off the list... probably you may have recently renewed your DL | ||
