the then family of farooq abdullah used to make this special dish for chacha nehru whenever chacha nehru used to visit them in kashmir.... they used to kill a lamb and bury it like half or a full feet in the ground... then they let that dead lamb to decompose....and then all these parasites (worms) form over the lamb....and after sometime it with the weather being so cold or watever , u get to see a thick cake of worms closely formed resembling a lamb.... Then they used to remove the lamb and cook it for chacha nehru.... | ||

that is unique and very very scrumptious....like travel channel lo when they talk about food like zimmers n bourdeins whenever they visit families every family has some unique dish or a regular dish where they add their own special things to make it unique....do u have any similar dish in ur family....like apple curry or sapota sambar...or is there any dish in ur family u think that is best made only in ur family n not outside... |
