Nee daggara LG player undhi kabatti, transfer all your music/movies into the 2TB external hard disk. Connect it to Bluray player and play. Connect to any PC and play locally. I think it suffices your needs.

When dealing with media [video/audio/pictures] streaming solutions, think about scalability ie, tactical vs. strategy. Tactical solution work in the short term but in the long run, they suck. 2TB endayyaa.. atleast 20TB scalable solution choodu..

Roku is not suitable for local media streaming. It has very limited codec support (like .mp4) So, it is NOT an alternative for playing back any video format of your choice.

Let me try changing the HDMI cable as well. Do you have any suggestions for a good HDMI cable?

idhi varaku naa hdtv lo cable tv chaala clear ga vachedhi hi-def channels. ever since i moved to a new place, same cable provider tho picture is not looking good at all. full grainy ga vasthundhi no matter what settings I update on the tv. sometimes pixelation kooda avuthunnattu anipinchindhi. blu-ray is playing fine. meeku ee problem eppudaina vachindhaa?

I don't know. I never use subtitle for telugu/hindi movies :-)

The only time I may need subtitles is for English movies, which I don't download.

As i said in the past, i am using Tversity streaming to PS3.

No issues with streaming. BUT, How do you get sub titles/closed captions?

When i download a Xvid it comes with support files for subtitles. Not sure how to use them.

Any pointers?
