I dont know about bluray or dvd players but players like popcornhour/dune/wdtv do send frequent updates on codecs. These players have very good chipset and they keep getting updated by the firmware updates.. so we dont have to download any codec.. In this db, there's always someone watching you!!  | ||

VLC is the best player out there.. and it is a software built for xp etc.. You need a hardware that can stream the movie files from pc to tv.. most hardwares dont support all the file formats. Cheap and best ante buy as hyder said and if the dvd player cannot play the file, then convert it into the format it supports.. No, I dont want to convert ante nee budget cheppu..
