I see more and more of my friends spending more time on FB than doing the imp things in day to day life Though it has brought long lost friends together and enabled us to constantly keep in touch no matter where we are located, it has however become a major source of distraction in our lives. New York times recently carried an interesting article called Digital Distraction. http://www.nytimes.com/2010/11/21/technology/21brain.html?_r =1 Two days ago, went to see a doctor, was surprised to see a notebook on his desk. He was logged into facebook and simultaneusly seeing patients. |
