I donno recollect term euthanasia but i know dr kurkurey... pacino portrayed him in You dont know jack.... its a good movie but fcking depressing... therez a shot in the movie where pacino agrees to help an old woman to end her life...she is old and married but she has alzeimers and she keeps forgetting stuff and comes to a point she doesnt want to live with herself anymore... so pacino arranges a mobile setup in a van for her to assist with her suicide... the procedure is they help her put a needle in her veins and they give a wire to her...and the moment she pulls the wire at first one chemical makes them lose conscious and then after a while another chemical pumps through their veins n kills them...so technically its not a murder cause the plug is pulled by the patients itself... So th day comes...the old woman and her husband the old man comes to van...they say goodbyes n the oldman cries n goes for a walk... and then Pacino fixes her up with he intravenous needles and finally gives her the wire to pull...and then suddenly she remembers that a gardener is coming to their house that day to fix their plants...and she talks about the appointment and the procedure of gardening n plants with lot of enthu... And pacino keeps his hand on her forehead and says "Its not too late dear you can stop it now and go back to ur life" and the before he even finishes the sentence and the moment the old woman hears the word "Life" her face turns from pleasant to absolute disgust n she pulls the plug with so fast n so much hatred and then she dies...that shot left me fcked up...u know people hating their life that much...but thats how certain illness are..they fck u up n make u beg for death | ||
