original cep tool company gone bankrupt, tibco acquired it renamed ti BE. CEP has not much market as such so tibco using cep engine in some of their tools as it is almost flop venture. they are trying to ship it free with ELA's | ||

CEP is not that attractive field. It is pure research activity (lots of activity going on CEP.) open source tools are there. at present most of the companies avoid using cep tools (performance sucks, tightly couple, etc), they are more shifted towards log scrappers & events. | ||

real time events ni process chesi actions ni fire chestundi (ex:your credit card is used 500miles away from your residence etc, you get a call from cc company). it is a junk tool. very hard to learn (like the tool says it is CEP & it is a complex tool to master it). lots of development need to be done (not a configuration based tool, an enterprise log scrapper with proper events fired would be much ideal than CEP tools) | ||
