burma was never a part of india...only after the anglo-burmese wars in 1800,they were ruled as part of colonial india....in 1937 they were given independence yes our govt is siding with the military junta in burma but it's for economic reasons and to counter chinese influence and reduce NE insurgency | ||

The biggest mistake made by gandhi is accepting british praposal to divide india. Pak E and West. India-mayanmar, tibit.. Still i am not sure why gandhi agreed to that.
