In an interview on Thursday night with former NFL coach Steve Mariucci on the NFL Network, Brett Favre reportedly said he will not return to play in 2011. When asked if he would be back next season, Favre was said to have shook his head and said, "No." The entire interview will air on Sunday during the network's NFL GameDay Morning pregame show. The Minnesota Vikings are 3-5 this season and they play the division rival Chicago Bears on Sunday. Favre has had a rough season, battling injuries and being criticized over allegations that he sent racy voicemails and naked pictures to Jenn Sterger in 2008, while he played for the New York Jets and she was a hostess for the team. The 41-year-old quarterback reportedly admitted leaving voicemails, but denied sending naked photos. |
