You are mixing up millitary operations to police. What if I say what were NYPD doing during 9/11 attacks? does that make nypd the worst police? (even though they are the most corrupt in the world). I agree that we lack full training and equipment. But thats not the only thing needed. American security training is more of theoritical and textbook type education, no practical value. This is the exact reason they are taking pounding in Iraq and Vietnam. Now a days all the local and international wars are guerilla types and extreme adapatibility to the local conditions is essential to combat them which I think american forces totally lack. I see some people making immature comments about Indian army - yes, we took the beating in srilanka, but its not because of lack of training and ability, but interference of the top most politicians and bureaucracy - its a long story. Indian army is definitely among the best in the world. Never lose the sight of it ! | ||
