Btw , last year our city became the first in the US to officially celebrate Diwali and this year declared it to be standing event on the city events calendar :-)first saturday of November -it's a lot of fun if you want to bring friends down next year or so :-)

Really ? So it's wrong for people to think beyond their own kind ? I know people here who have adopted children in different countries ,fund their education shop for gifts for them - because a dollar goes a long way in underdeveloped countries.
