hmm seems like im in problem. in my situation company A is american insurance company. i know they will revoke H1 but not sure about 140. thanks to everyone. | ||

if company A is willing to continue GC process and company B is willing to file H!B extension based on the 140 from A, then u will get 3 years... idhi yela ...antay it is possible...you have to work with old and new employers...my wife had such an offer few months back... if A is a consulting or small company, such things usually work out coz of the goodwill factor | ||

bro...isnt the 3 yr extension based on an approved 140... he has to transffer his h1B to company B antunaaru gaa...so transfer appudu blind gaa prior approved extension date( 3 yrs) kee isthaada...wont it be on a pending perm/140 since it is also an extension? | ||

Tammudu confuse cheyyaku.. kinda cheppindi once he gets H1 extn, then notify the employer A.. And you were saying below.. artham kaaledu.. even if he does cancel 140, kurrodiki poyedi emundi.. already H1 3yrs ochhestundi kadaa..

firstly he won't get 3yrs extn . since he is in 6th yr of his H1 the new company cannot file him for a new labor cert. | ||

if he revokes your 140 then you are screwed . he can do that even if you join other company after getting 3 yrs ext. | ||

I have approved I140 from company A and havent applied for 485. I am on H1 for last 5.5 yrs. if I move to company B do I get extension for 3yrs or just 6 months or 1.5 yrs? TIA |
