most of these are ordinary citizens, and some women organizations, were trying their best to gain peoples faith. everybody in Kashmir wants troop sizes to be decreased, but the seperatists never let that happen, every time, army relapses to give the citizens relief, separatists create problems, and the tropps get back to action, and this enrages the citizens. to make things worse, after vajpaye, indian government did not show enough commitment to resolve any crisis points. After vajpayees stint as prime minister, Kashmiri trust towards indian goverments were at its peak, but sadly we could not utilize it. you might remember Muzaffar Baig of PDP(peoples democratic party) openly asked Vajpayee to contest from kashmir and he promised kashmiris would elect him unanimously. such was the trust in kashmiri political and social sections. precisely, there are alot of people who are working for peace in Kashmir Valley, and their efforts are being undermined by the tactics of Roy and such.
KCR might not be as bad as Roy, but he did use the same tactics. Enough of this soft but sharp approach towards Roy and her ilk .. we have had enough .. she was doled out enough carrots .. now its the time to use the stick .. I really hope .. govt puts a gag on media and throws Roy in Tihar .. give a damn to human rights to such traitors .. show the world that we are indeed strong and any botch will be handled the way they deserve .. I guess Roy got just what she wanted, matters such as these are to be handled with soft but sharp hands. She is succeeding in making matter emotional to everyone, so the reactions makes things look uglier than they really are. Just like KCR succeeded with T issue. Kashmir is in a sad state now, and it is getting worse by day. Looks like Indian Military needs a PR, as they are the ones with guns, and it is easy to blame the guns.
