GEICO really tops on hilarious ads.. Cave man ads are simply supperbb, esp the one where he finds his ad in the airport.. and involving gecco himself.. The other ads I like are from ETrade, the toddler ads.. LOL.. In this db, there's always someone watching you!! | ||

i agree with you on the shades of pedophilia thing ... they cud have made the same ad with an older woman or an older man instead of a school girl or boy and still convey their message - tension/anticipation etc for the cricket series ... they just went a step further and raised a few eyebrows by showing a school girl ... guess the think tank behind the AD loves to play with fire and have a distorted (showing the girl) yet creative (using the escape setup) mind set ... i hope that the USP for the ad was showing the tension of the kidnapped victim while escaping and the choice of a school girl was not intentional. ee issue pakkana pedithe (which i know is hard to keep away frm) the AD simply rocked!! I did not find anything odd regarding the escaping setup used ... it was unique its just the girl thing that irks me. | ||

I didn't like the connotation of the ad. For someone to drive the point of oh cricket tournament is coming, too psyched with anticipation and tension - they don't need to make an ad with shades of pedophilia or some kidnap victim.
