Kashimiri independence is not going to happen any time soon...because that only possible when there is no state called India. may be three or four hundred years later...some of these ultra intellectuals like reatarded ARoy and this Padgaonkar need to tell seperatists to wait till then istead of creating stupid student projects and writing trash articles. |

Nip secessionist talk in bud: Dr. JP Lok Satta Party President Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan today appealed to human rights activists not to endanger the unity and integrity of India by lending legitimacy to forces seeking self-determination in the name of religion. Paraphrasing George Santayana, Dr. JP said that if we fail to learn from history, we are doomed to repeat it. He recalled that the Partition of India in the name of religion in 1947 saw 15 million people being uprooted from their homes, a million butchered, 600000 maimed and 300000 women molested. In the recent past, balkanization of the erstwhile Yugoslavia resulted in genocide and anarchy. Pakistan and Sri Lanka had gone through similar strife following secessionist demands. In contrast, India despite many hiccups has remarkably succeeded in preserving its unity and integrity. Dr. JP was reacting to the speeches made at a seminar titled â Azadi: The Only Wayâ in New Delhi on October 21 by Hurriyat Conference leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani and others. Dr. JP pointed out that India has a marvelous Constitution, which can accommodate the hopes and aspirations of people belonging to all regions, speaking diverse languages and professing different religions. Dr. JP wanted both the Union and State Governments to act firmly against forces that are out to dismember India by. â Indians can have peace, prosperity, and human rights only when the country remains one and united. Political parties should not fish in troubled waters in their quest for power and votes. Let not the sacrifices made by freedom fighters and efforts put in by visionary leaders post-Independence in building India of today go in vain.â Political parties, at least now, please leave our RAM alone. TIA. |

kashmir ki freedom ichestundhi anta mafia....kashmir daani babu di lekha daani mogudidi leka daani atha di leka daani atta abba di kadhi ichetaniki cheppu teesukuni kodatham http://news.rediff.com/report/2010/oct/25/prepare-raodmap-fo r-azaadi-padgaonkar-tells-kashmiri-students.htm Dilip Padgaonkar, who heads the group of Centre's interlocutors on Jammu and Kashmir [ Images ], asked students to prepare a roadmap for azaadi (freedom) by the time they return for a second visit to the Valley. "Next time when we come (to Kashmir), let us discuss 'azaadi' and its economic and strategic implications. We have to discuss it threadbare. If this is your wish, we can discuss it," he told a group of university students in Srinagar [ Images ]. "Prepare a roadmap with a time-line which can be delivered. Make it precise, make it practical, which can be achieved in a time-bound manner," the journalist told them. The students presented to the interlocutors a three-point formula for reducing the trust-deficit. The three-point formula suggested by them included the demand for immediate release of students and youths who have been arrested on charges of stone-pelting during the unrest, repeal of all the "draconian laws" and demilitarisation of the state. "Such steps will help in reducing the trust-deficit,"a student said. Padgaonkar said he wished to see more schools and fewer jails in Kashmir. |
