spit dats mom.... this movie sucks...I mean wats happening to our cinema...I went with loads of hopes for this....I lived in seema for few years...as a novice n as an amateur in everything n as a teenager n as an ingorant I observed so much intersting facts about seema in those few years that I could have given better script than this....I observed their innocence their arrogance their foolishness their methods their way of life n wat not....n then i saw all those seema movies which r nothing but pure BS in portraying the real seema...they were all cliched n escapist...and rakta charitra is no different... It sucks man...I mean sucks real bad.... U know though media was writing off verma I always thought If he had a good writer like anurag kashyap at his disposal or if he had a good topic like rann for his perusal , I believed he can still churn out a classic... then I saw rann which was not bad...i mean a movie on media which is like the most confused n controversial aspect of out desham because media is pretty new in its mass evolution...i thought he would make it memorable but he started well but fell short... not a bad effort though...but even a madhur bandarkar can pull that movie through... then rakta charita...the most exciting n violent story coming from our state...a movie about kasi , paga n loyalty n revenge...Even a VV vinayak or rajamouli will have ball if u provide them with such a script...n verma messes sit up ... there is nothing in this piece of crap....I felt like iam watching a violence saga by k raghavendra rao.... dats mom.... u know seema is like sicily for hollywood.... if narrated by a real master u can have a god father from seema premise...thats how entertaining it is...our seema factionists r no less inferior to corleonis or sopranos...they can make audience straighten their spines n give attention to them...they lead suchh interesting lives... their life style good or bad its another aspect for debate... but is it interesting??? ....hell yeah.... this movie has nothing going for it...it never goes deep into the lifestyle of the people there nor it never focuses on the methods of assasination for cinematic effect... its the laziest n sleaziest film making for taking advantage of emotions of two sections of dumb followers who can watch any shxt if it shows the rise of their leader or wat not...if its not for paritala or suri then no one would have bothered about it... The only selling factors of this movie are abhimanyu singh and shotgun sinha...abhimanyu singh the guy who played bukka....i saw him in gulaal....he was terrific in that and he is the saving grace of this...though his character is cliched he adds that extra mad energy to that character that whenever he is on screen he brings life to the movie.... and then shotgun sinha as NTR...he was superb...especially when he sayss "Outttt" dats mom....the scene of him bowling with his grands childrein is one of the best from the movie...the two or three best scenes in the movie all have him doing his thing....he was amazing.... And regarding the controversy by N clan.....I mean wat the fck...did they watch the movie??...if u go on an election campaign n if a pyscho like bukka attacka u with country bombs wont u pee in ur pants??? I would .... and shotgun sinha or NTR did the same...wtf....infact this movie showed ntr as a hero...as a thinking man...as a wise man...therezz nothing malice in his portrayal.... and wat the fck with that voice over narration or watever.....its like some guy with throat cancer selling a tribal made gajji thamara medicine on an autorickshaw eqipped with a loud speaker...wtff.... and wtf with the bg score ..... wtf has those sanskrit verses got to do with any of this shot being portrayed on the screen.... When verma took over as the director of rakta charithra I thought i was going to witness the most authentic n tru pirtrayal of seems till date in telugu cinema... and even after rakta charitra "Anthahpuram" by KV still retains the best seema bomma from TFI... overall its a disappointment man....watching this movie with great expectations is like u going to a bar n meeting this gorgeous axss who looks like liz hurley and getting her drunk n taking her to ur apt n then u finding out she is a transexual pros....klpd... thats wat rakta charitra is all about.... |
