Remove the battery from the lappy and try to turn in ON (by hooking it to the power cable) So you can eliminate whether it is a battery issue or some other power issue If god doesn't like the way I live, let him tell me, not you | ||

Do you hear any sound when you try to turn it on? 99.99% not a HDD issue IMO. just remembered, when it is plugged in and the laptop is off, the battery doesnt get charged. it charges only when the laptop is on. | ||

my work computer is not turning on. its a thinkpad T62 laptop. just morning i had worked on it for few hours and then shut it down. little while ago when i wanted to use it again, i couldn't. All this while it was plugged in and charging.is my hard drive safe ? |
